Who we are

What we collect

• If you use our grant eligibility checker: your name, email, phone number (if given), postcode, and answers about your property, current heating system, heating system age, and project timeline. This data is stored in our CRM (Notion).
• How we use your data: we use your answers to tell you which UK grants you may qualify for. With your explicit consent (given at submission), we share your enquiry with up to 3 MCS-certified installer partners in your area so they can contact you with free quotes. We receive a referral fee from installers for this — this never affects the grant advice we give you.
• If you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address, handled by our email provider solely to send you stock alerts, price drops, and grant updates. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• Basic, privacy-friendly analytics: aggregate visit data to understand what's useful. We do not use invasive cross-site tracking.

Who we share your data with

When you submit the eligibility checker and give consent, your enquiry details (name, email, phone, postcode, property type, current heating, timeline) are shared with up to 3 MCS-certified installer partners who cover your postcode area. We do not share your data with any other third parties, and we never sell your data to data brokers.

Legal basis (UK GDPR)

We process your data on the basis of your consent (given when you submit the eligibility checker or subscribe to the newsletter). Analytics rely on our legitimate interests in understanding how the site is used. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Third parties we rely on

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Eligibility submissions are stored in Notion. Newsletter emails are handled by our email provider. Installer partners receive your enquiry data directly. Each has their own privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we'll action it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics cookies help us understand usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Data retention

We retain eligibility checker submissions for up to 24 months, after which they are automatically deleted. If you'd like your data deleted sooner, email us at any time.
